Met deze geheel nieuwe Superbike neemt Kawasaki dit segment nu weer zeer serieus. De 2011-versie is voorzien van alle denkbare opties en duidelijk puur ontwikkeld voor circuitgebruik. Kawasaki heeft hierbij duidelijk BMW als voorbeeld genomen en wil het verloren terrein in het Superbike-segment met het 2011-model terugwinnen. De "Nex Ninja" is voorzien van de volgende specificaties: Traction Control met 4 standen (S-KTRC), Supersport-ABS met 3 standen (KIBS), cassetteversnellingsbak, verstelbare voetsteunen, vertelbare Öhlins stuurdemper, balhoofdhoek 65 graden, naloop 110 mm, Big Piston Fork (PBF), 198 kilo rijklaar. Maximum vermogen: 200,1 PK en 209,9 PK met Ram-Air bij 13.000 toeren. Maximaal koppel 114,3 Nm bij 11.500 tpm. Leverbaar in groen en zwart, gezien de extreem hoge stand van de Japanse Yen zal deze versie zeker duurder worden dan de vorige.

Unfortunately i can't tell, this was the standard setup Kawasaki used on the showbike at the EICMA inMIlaan. After that, i never saw it again.
